The Optoma ZH350ST Short Throw Projector is a compact Full HD laser projector designed for professional installations. It delivers 3,500 lumens of brightness and uses a 0.496:1 short throw ratio.

Its short throw design allows a large image to be projected from a relatively short distance. This makes it suitable for classrooms, meeting rooms, training spaces and other environments where projector placement is limited.

Full HD Short Throw Projection

The Optoma ZH350ST Short Throw Projector produces 3,500 lumens with a native Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080. This provides detailed images for presentations, video and other professional content.

The projector has a 16:9 native aspect ratio. It can also display compatible 4:3 and 16:10 content.

Its 300,000:1 contrast ratio helps produce defined highlights and darker image areas. Dynamic contrast can reach 2,000,000:1.

Compact Short Throw Design

The ZH350ST uses a 0.496:1 throw ratio with a fixed lens. It can project an image from approximately 0.3 to 3.3 metres away.

The projector supports screen sizes from 30 to 300 inches diagonally. A 100-inch image can be projected from just over one metre away.

This short throw design is useful in classrooms and meeting rooms. It allows the projector to be positioned closer to the projection surface, helping reduce shadows and glare.

DuraCore Laser Technology

The Optoma ZH350ST uses a DuraCore laser light source with a rated life of up to 30,000 hours. The laser source is mercury-free and designed for maintenance-free operation.

Laser technology also provides instant on and off operation. It maintains consistent brightness over its operating life without requiring traditional lamp replacement.

The projector is also IP6X certified. This provides additional protection for the optical engine against dust ingress.

Designed for 24/7 Operation

The ZH350ST supports 24/7 operation in standard orientation. This makes it suitable for applications requiring extended operating periods.

The projector also supports 360° projection. This allows the image to be displayed in different orientations for specialised installations.

Portrait projection is supported as well. These features provide greater flexibility for commercial and creative applications.

HDR, HLG and 3D Support

The Optoma ZH350ST supports HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) content. This allows compatible content to display a wider range of brightness and detail.

The projector also supports Full 3D. Compatible sources include 3D Blu-ray players, 3D broadcasts and compatible gaming systems.

Installation Flexibility

Horizontal and vertical keystone correction are supported up to ±15°. This allows installers to correct image geometry when the projector cannot be positioned perfectly square to the screen.

The compact chassis measures approximately 274 × 216 × 114 mm and weighs approximately 3 kg.

This makes the ZH350ST relatively easy to position in installations where space is limited.

Connectivity

The Optoma ZH350ST Short Throw Projector provides two HDMI 2.0 inputs for connecting computers, media players and other digital sources.

A 3.5 mm audio output allows audio to be routed to an external sound system. The USB-A port provides 1.5 A of power for compatible devices such as HDMI streaming dongles.

RS232 provides a wired control option for professional AV installations.

Integrated Audio

A built-in 15 W speaker provides audio directly from the projector. This can be useful for presentations and smaller installations where an external sound system is not required.

For larger rooms, the 3.5 mm audio output can be connected to an external amplifier or powered speaker system.

Energy-Efficient Design

Optoma states that the ZH350ST can reduce power consumption by up to 45% compared with equivalent lamp-based Optoma projectors. The external power supply also provides additional reliability and portability.

Power consumption is rated between 98 W and 139 W depending on operating mode. Standby consumption is below 0.5 W.
